Month of Prayer for OPBC: Day 7

“If any occupation or association is found to hinder our communion with God or our enjoyment of spiritual things, then it must be abandoned. Anything in my habits or ways which mars happy fellowship with the brethren or robs me of power in service, is to be unsparingly judged and made an end of– ‘burned.’ Whatever I cannot do for God’s glory must be avoided.” – A.W. PINK

PRAY THAT OPBC WOULD MAKE KNOWN GOD’S GLORY – ROMANS 1:14-17

Romans 1:14-17 I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish. 15 So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

LORD, IN OUR EVANGELISM AS A CHURCH, MAKE US FAITHFUL TO…

  1. ALL TAKE PART AS THOSE OBLIGATED AS INDEBTED TO SHARE THE GOSPEL
  2. SHARE WITH EVERYONE, EVEN THOSE DIFFERENT FROM US
  3. BE EAGER TO SPEAK THE GOSPEL INTO PEOPLES’ LIVES
  4. BE CONFIDENT AND UNASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL

PRAISE THE LORD FOR THE GOSPEL – MARVEL AT IT – AND MARVEL AT THE FACT THAT SOMEONE SHARED THE GOSPEL WITH YOU AND IT IS STILL CHANGING YOU – AND PRAY FOR OTHER CHURCH MEMBERS AS THEY ARE BEING CHANGED IN THE SAME WAY.
