After a glorious Easter Sunday at OPBC, our family jumped in the car and started our trek to Florida. This first week of sabbatical (so graciously granted by my church family) is all about family time. Sunday was a drive to Florence, SC in time for the girls to swim at the hotel pool. Then more driving on Monday to Parrish, FL to see our good friends, Nick, Ann, Riley, and Reed Smith. Grilled steaks (Chesed’s favorite) and an evening of catching up… So easy with them.
Now, a morning of cuddling on the couch with my girls, Nana’s pound cake and relaxation. Please pray that Chesed’s low grade fever and sniffles will clear up in the next day. More tomorrow. Thanks for watching the house and feeding the turtles, Kyle.
