So I was supposed to be heading to Minneapolis today for the Desiring God Conference for Pastors. I was definitely looking forward to the teaching, the time of refreshing and especially fellowship with some good pastor friends who are attending. But, as I got back from our Growth Group Super Bowl Party last night, I got word that my flights were canceled because of snow in Philadelphia and all other flights out to Minneapolis were full. All other avenues were not available or feasible, so here I am in Powhatan. I am bummed that I will miss the conference fellowship, but I am thankful for technology, as the conference will be live-streamed… so I will be watching the live feed and learning… taking the next couple of days as study days. Please pray that this will serve our church and the Kingdom of Christ well.
