Sunday Preview: September 21, 2014

Repenting means experiencing a change of mind that now sees God as true and beautiful and worthy of all our praise and all our obedience. John Piper

Tomorrow at Old Powhatan Baptist Church we will gather to pray, sing, give, and hear the Bible. We will continue in our series on Daniel, and how we are to live as Kingdom Minded Outsiders. We will continue to look at the good news of the work of God in the life of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4. We will be exploring what true repentance looks like.

We will also be kicking off our Week of Prayer and Giving for Vision Virginia, our state missions offering through the SBC of Virginia. 100% of gifts go to missions opportunities in and through our state convention. Our offering goal for Vision Virginia is $2000.

Songs We Will Sing:

Sin is Powerless by Ross King, Everlasting God by Brenton Brown & Ken Riley, How Great Thou Art by Stuart Hine, and Have Thine Own Way, Lord by Adelaide Potter & George Stebbins

Join us tomorrow… and for our OPBC members… Have you invited someone to join you tomorrow?
