PRAYING FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T WORK FROM HOME

THANK A WORKER TODAY IF YOU ARE AT THE GROCERY STORE, GAS STATION, OR ANYWHERE THAT PEOPLE HAVE TO WORK TO PROVIDE A SERVICE FOR YOU. AND THEN ASK IF YOU CAN PRAY WITH THEM/ FOR THEM (EVEN AT A DISTANCE)

MATTHEW 6:25-34

25 ^e“Therefore I tell you, ^fdo not be anxious about your life, what  you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 ^gLook at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. ^hAre you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his ⁱspan of life?⁷ 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, ^jeven Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, ^kO you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For ^lthe Gentiles seek after all these things, and ^myour heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But ⁿseek first ^othe kingdom of God and his righteousness, ^pand all these things will be added to you. 34 ^q“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

• PRAY FOR THOSE WHO WORK IN GROCERY STORES, RETAIL STORES AND GAS STATIONS
  • PRAY THAT THEY WILL REMAIN HEALTHY
  • PRAISE THE LORD FOR THEM AND THEIR WORK
  • PRAY THAT THIS WILL BE A TIME THAT THEY WILL LOOK TO JESUS
  • PRAY FOR EMPLOYERS TO BE REASONABLE AND TO PROVIDE OR EMPLOYEES
• PRAY FOR GARBAGE MEN, TRUCK DRIVERS, MECHANICS, HVAC TECHS, PLUMBERS, AND ALL KIDS OF TRADESMEN
• PRAY FOR UTILITIES WORKERS
• PRAY FOR PRISON GUARDS 
• PRAY FOR POLICE OFFICERS, EMTS AND FIREFIGHTERS – AND ALL WHO PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES
• PRAY FOR THOSE WHO CLEAN OFFICE BUILDINGS AND STORES AND TRY TO KEEP OTHERS FROM GETTING THE VIRUS
• PRAY FOR RESTAURANT WORKERS AND RESTAURANT OWNERS
• PRAY FOR THE ECONOMIC IMPACT ON HOURLY WORKERS AND THOSE IN SERVICE INDUSTRIES
• PRAY FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T WORK AT ALL RIGHT NOW
• PRAY FOR THE CHURCH TO STEP UP TO SERVE THOSE WHO SERVE US
• PRAY FOR THE FAMILIES OF ALL OF THESE
• PRAY THAT ALL WILL SEEK THE KINGDOM AS THEY REALIZE THAT WORRYING ABOUT THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD WILL GET THEM NOTHING… BUT GOD IS THE ONE WHO PROVIDES FOR OUR EVERY NEED.
• PRAY THAT MANY WILL COME TO FAITH IN JESUS.
