This Sunday at OPBC: 250th Anniversary Celebration (Month 1)

If you haven’t been to church in person in a while, THIS IS THE WEEK TO MAKE IT IN PERSON! You don’t want to miss this Sunday as we kick off a YEAR of celebrating our 250th anniversary as a church. WHAT A HISTORY and WHAT A FAITHFUL GOD! This month we look at the theme of PERSEVERANCE in the beginning and continuing of OPBC. We will have a special time of remembering God’s faithfulness and praying together.

We are excited to have Steve Bradshaw, Director of Evangelism and Strategic Initiatives and Central Region Catalyst for the SBC of Virginia, our state convention of churches. Steve is a good friend of OPBC and works with Pastor Brad and Eddie at the SBCV. He and his wife, Jan, are residents of Powhatan County. I’m excited for you to hear what God has laid on his heart to encourage and challenge us as we celebrate! DON’T MISS IT!

In person worship at 8:30AM and 10:15AM with OPBCKids at 10:15AM. If, for some reason, you cannot make it in person, join us online… but this is the week to make it in person!

This Sunday is also a great opportunity to give to our BUILDING FUND, our What’s New at Old Powhatan initiative, as we prayerfully plan for the future. We encourage all OPBC members to give a little extra this year to the Building Fund and prayerfully consider what God would lead you to pledge at the end of the year.
