In 2013 I am doing a couple of new things as I read through the Bible. First, I am using a new plan, the [Bible Eater Plan](http://malibugathering.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/bibleeatertrenthunter-1-2.pdf). Today, for this plan, I read Genesis 1 and 2 and Matthew 1. I am excited to see how this plan stacks up and really like the emphasis on reading full books that stress the fullness of God’s redemptive work.
Secondly, I am going to read a book of the Bible each day for an entire month, so as to feast on one book. After the first week of reading through the book each day in its entirety, I will read the whole book, then focus in on one section/ argument/ though process/ story and dive into meditation on the passage and interpretation. I am praying that these feast will produce great fruit in me.
So, for January, the book of choice is Paul’s Letter to the Galatians… who wants to come along on this journey with me? I’ll give semi-frequent updates here and some thoughts as I read.
Happy New Year!
