Jesus is the Word in verse 1 – where was Jesus in the beginning? What is in Jesus that He gives to us?
Jesus was ALIVE as God’s Son even before He was born in Bethlehem… He was alive as God’s Son before time began! God: the Father, Son and Holy, planned for Jesus to leave heaven and come to give us LIFE! And that LIFE is forever with Him! Because Jesus existed BEFORE time began and because Jesus ROSE from the grave and defeated death… we can have life FOREVER!
PRAY: Thank Jesus for beating death! Thank Him for being stronger than sin. Ask Him to help you turn from sin and trust in Him.
