Why did God send John? Was John the light?
What are some things you and your family do to get ready for Christmas? Are there movies, music, books or traditions that help prepare your hearts for Christmas? Jesus came to give us the TRUE story, the Gospel in Himself. He came to forgive sin through His life, death and resurrection.
John’s job was to get people ready for Jesus… to get people ready for the Gospel. That is now our job… to tell people about the TRUE story… to tell people about Jesus. We go all over the world to tell people who have never heard about Jesus.
PRAY: Thank Jesus for people who shared the Gospel with you! Ask God to help you love the truth about Jesus and to share the truth about Jesus with others. Ask Him to make you generous with all that He has given you so that you will give so that others can hear about Jesus.
