What does Jesus give to everyone who believes in His name? How are people born into God’s family?
No earthly family is perfect. Families bicker and argue… and some are really weird! But God uses families to remind us of His love. Jesus came to give us a new family… a heavenly family with heaven as our home and God as our Father.
Since Adam, everyone was separated from God by their sin. God gives us all kinds of good gifts, but people still don’t believe in His name and follow Him. So Jesus came to make a new family. Jesus rescues all who trust in Him. When we tell someone about Jesus, we are giving them the best gift!
PRAY: Thank Jesus for giving us the right to be called children of God when we trust Him. Ask Him to give you faith. Ask Him to give faith to others and for the boldness to tell someone about Jesus this Christmas!
