Sunday through Wednesday we had a great group of folks come out for good food and Bible Study. Sunday night, Pastor Brad led us in an overview of the truth of our church theme for 2014: One With Christ as it relates to our Salvation. Monday and Tuesday, Pastor Roger walked us through the life of Joseph in Genesis as the sovereignty of God was on display, with His plan, His purpose, His person… all essential realities for our walking in this union with Christ. Then Wednesday night, Pastor Brad closed out the study with four areas of our lives that are daily impacted by the truth of being One with Christ. Our Union with Christ is not just an objective reality, but is meant to be experienced and lived out in our identity, humility, war against sin, and in our hope and motivation.
