Daniel 2: Who is Able? Kingdom Minded Outsiders
Daniel answered the king and said, “No wise men, enchanters, magicians, or astrologers can show to the king the mystery that the king has asked, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream and the visions of your head as you lay in bed are these: (Daniel 2:27-28)
Who is Able to Reveal Mysteries?
Who is Able to Deliver His People?
Who is Able to Rule Forever?
THE HOPE OF GOD’S PEOPLE IS SECURE THROUGH THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE… NOT THROUGH HUMAN ABILITY OR WISDOM.
THE APPLICATION: PRAY.
PRAY FOR WISDOM TO REMAIN HOLY IN AN UNHOLY WORLD
PRAISE THE LORD THAT HE REVEALS THE THINGS OF THE DARK AND BRINGS LIGHT
PRAY FOR THE MISSION OF THE LORD… THAT HIS GREATNESS WOULD BE KNOWN THROUGH HIS PEOPLE.
This Lord’s Day was incredibly special. I pray that the Lord was honored by our worship of Him and that each person was encouraged and built up. I know I was encouraged.
There is nothing better than a day among believers when new believers stand in the baptismal waters and proclaim that Jesus is King. Please pray for and walk with these new followers of Christ.
